Terms of use

This translation is provided for information only; the French version is the only legally binding one.

1. Purpose

These terms of use (the “Terms”) govern the use of the TryCast mobile app and the trycast.fr website (together, the “Service”). TryCast is a free rugby predictions game to play with friends: you predict the results of matches, score points and compare yourself with the people close to you on leaderboards.

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you disagree with any of them, do not use the Service.

2. A free game, with no real money

TryCast is not a real-money betting service: no stakes, no winnings in cash or in kind, no in-app purchases. Points and leaderboards have no monetary value and can be neither exchanged nor cashed in. The odds displayed are used solely to calculate the game's points and constitute neither an incentive nor an offer to bet.

3. Account and access

4. Rules of use

By using the Service, you agree to:

In the event of a breach, the publisher may suspend or delete the account concerned, after notice where possible.

5. Content and competitions

Fixtures, results and odds come from third-party data providers and are provided for information only; errors or delays may occur. TryCast is an independent project, not affiliated with the competitions, unions, clubs or brands mentioned in the app.

6. Availability and liability

TryCast is a project run by an independent developer, provided “as is” with no guarantee of continuous availability. The publisher does everything it can to provide a reliable service, but cannot be held liable for interruptions, loss of game data or indirect damage arising from the use of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Intellectual property

The TryCast brand, logo, interface and original content of the Service are protected. Any unauthorised reproduction or use is prohibited.

8. Personal data

How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

9. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may change, particularly when new features launch. In the event of a substantial change, you will be informed in the app or by email; continuing to use the Service constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
